"Precious" a movie based off the novel Push by Sapphire has been nominated for six Oscars. After viewing the heart wrenching drama many felt it was a front runner for the Academy Awards. Though Gabourey Sidibe is a new to the silver screen, her portrayal of a illiterate teen mom was on point. The film gave you a gritty realism, that is not always seen through a youth eyes.
